A Funny Glitch Interrupts the Sorting Hat Ceremony in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is a new open-world game based on the Harry Potter franchise that allows players to choose their house in Hogwarts. Fans have embraced the game and its polished experience, but as with any open-world title, it is bound to have bugs. Unfortunately, one player's experience was spoiled when they encountered a funny glitch that messed up their robe during the sorting ceremony.

The sorting hat ceremony is a pivotal moment in the game, where the hat decides which of the four houses in Hogwarts first-year students get placed in. Typically the hat makes the decision based on the protagonist's personality, but the game allows players to choose their own house. Unfortunately, Reddit user irrelevantreference1's experience was spoiled when after deciding on their house, their robe began to clip through the protagonist as its color changed to reflect what they chose.

Despite this one bug, irrelevantreference1's overall experience with Hogwarts Legacy was positive, but they did express disappointment that there was no included photo mode. Thankfully, given that Warner Bros. and Avalanche Software have a system set up to report glitches found in Hogwarts Legacy, this bug and others will likely be patched out.

In conclusion, the funny glitch in the sorting hat ceremony during Hogwarts Legacy was an unfortunate moment for one player, but their experience was still positive. Others were more amused by the clip, and responses have reflected that. Hopefully, Warner Bros. and Avalanche Software can fix this and other bugs that may arise as more players become familiar with the game. And allow the Sorting Hat Ceremony to remain the special moment it should be, according to canon.
