NPD Reveals Top 10 Best-Selling Games in the US for 2022

It’s no surprise that AAA titles dominate the best-selling games in the US for 2022, according to the latest report from the market research group, NPD. This list includes both physical and digital sales, though the digital information for MLB The Show 22 on Xbox and Switch is not available. Let’s take a look at the top ten best-selling games in the US for 2022. 

Coming in at number one is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. This fan-favorite title was released back in 2009 and continues to be popular nearly 13 years later. It was followed by Elden Ring, Madden NFL 23, and God of War: Ragnarök. 

NPD’s list also included popular titles like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, FIFA 23, Pokémon Legends Arceus, Horizon Forbidden West, and MLB The Show 22 rounded out the top ten best-selling games in the US. 

These titles are some of the most popular games for the past few years, and it’s no surprise that they’re topping the charts again this year.
