Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – Season 1: Episode 2 Will Rework Infamy Set Tiers

Despite facing low engagement levels, Rocksteady is gearing up for the release of the next episode in their Season of the Joker for Suicide Squad: Justice League. According to recent data, the game peaked at a modest 193 concurrent players on Steam in the past day. Nevertheless, the development team is introducing significant updates which include a major overhaul of the Infamy Tiers system.

In the upcoming Episode 2 release, all Infamy Sets and Notorious loot will be accessible from Mastery Level 1. This modification eliminates the need to attain higher Mastery Levels to access advanced gear, which is a welcome change for players.

The redesign of the Infamy Sets will cater to various playstyles. The Tier 1 sets will now focus on enhancing one or two fundamental mechanics, making it easier for players to boost their damage output significantly by mastering these aspects. These sets are designed with the idea that maintaining buffs should be straightforward, encouraging players to delve deeper into specific gameplay strategies.

On the other hand, Tier 3 sets will embrace diversity, supporting nearly any playstyle while demanding more skill to maintain buffs. These sets will be the most versatile yet complex, offering players more strategic freedom if they can manage the intricacies involved. Tier 2 sets will balance between these two extremes, providing a moderate challenge and flexibility.

Alongside these restructuring efforts, Rocksteady will introduce four additional Master grades for Infamy and Notorious items, creating a new maximum of five grades. Higher Mastery levels will continue to feature loot with the top Master grades, maintaining a rewarding element for players who invest time in reaching these levels.

As these updates roll out, Rocksteady remains committed to monitoring player feedback to refine the gameplay experience further in subsequent updates. The anticipation builds as more details about Episode 2 are expected to be shared soon. Suicide Squad: Justice League is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms.
